For years, the CAP Group has pursued a strategy of upgrading and building new networks, and interconnections between municipal aqueducts, to create a widespread supra-municipal network capable of guaranteeing reliability and improving the efficiency of the drinking water service supply.

The Northern Milan trunk line project involves the construction of a state-of-the-art station in the Cornaredo area, with the adoption of technological innovations aimed at ensuring high quality standards and reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs.

From here, a 19 km water trunk line in steel winds along the area serving the municipalities of Baranzate, Bresso, Cinisello Balsamo, Cormano, Cornaredo, Cusano Milanino, Novate Milanese, Paderno Dugnano and Sesto San Giovanni.

For this great work, cutting-edge design tools have been adopted, the route is optimized both in territorial and hydraulic terms, that is with the dual purpose of transporting the resource where it is necessary and at the same time identifying the solutions and paths with the aim of minimizing the construction impact that a work of this extent can have within a densely urbanized area.
