Our first 90 years
Ninety years and still going strong: that’s how we could sum up our story.
We were founded to bring water into the homes of Milan’s citizens: this was the goal that, on February 27, 1928, led several municipalities to establish the Consortium for Drinking Water (CAP, Consorzio Acqua Potabile) for the Municipalities of the Seveso Basin.
Today, our scope has expanded: we have begun exploring new opportunities beyond the water sector, with the aim of positioning ourselves as a multi-utility.
We are now active in waste treatment, bioenergy, green energy, and the circular economy—thus giving rise to the concept of a Green Utility.
Currently, we provide integrated water services for an area with over 2 million residents. We manage infrastructure and plant assets, and we plan and carry out both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and investments.
