Recognising commitment, rewarding excellence and building an increasingly sustainable supply chain: with these objectives in mind, Gruppo CAP has once again this year assigned the Top Supplier Award, the recognition dedicated to the most virtuous suppliers that cooperated with the Group during 2024.

The award was established to promote a corporate culture based on transparency, accountability and continuous improvement, and is reserved for qualified suppliers who have achieved the highest scores in the Vendor Rating system — the tool Gruppo CAP uses to assesses the contractual and reputational performance of the companies listed in its Supplier Register.
 

The winners for 2024

The award was assigned to three suppliers in as many assessment categories, according to the criteria defined by the Vendor Rating system:

• B&B SERVICE SAS - Category Qualified Vendor with Highest Vendor Rating (scoreboard): a company that designs, manufactures and maintains equipment for civil and industrial water treatment purification and water treatment in general. 

• CABRINI ALBINO SRL - Category Qualified Supplier in the Qualification System for Works, Supplies and Services and Gas & Energy: a company specialising in the design and realisation of road construction, hydraulic and special works as well as soil and water bioengineering

• IDROSTUDI SRL - Category Qualified Supplier in the Professional Qualification System: a company specialising in civil engineering for water and environmental management.
   

The three winners will receive a training voucher, valid for one year, which will give them access to advanced e-learning courses on topics such as ethics, compliance, occupational safety, soft skills development and digital innovation.

Gruppo CAP’s Vendor Rating System

Gruppo CAP's Vendor Rating system was launched in 2019 and renewed in 2023 with a greener and more innovative vision. It is structured and continuous system for assessing suppliers’ performance on the key variables of legality, environment, diversity & inclusion, equal opportunities, safety, innovation, thus promoting a shared sustainable growth path. Participation in the award takes place automatically. All 'qualified' suppliers registered in CAP's Supplier Register and holding contracts with the Group are eligible, provided they meet the statutory and contractual requirements.
