Integrating sustainability into corporate governance models and processes is the underlying principle of the Top Supplier Award, the prize created by CAP Group.
The award, now in its second year, is a recognition for CAP’s registered suppliers who stood out in 2022 as the best performers in terms of quality, sustainability and operational excellence in the integrated water service.
The Top Supplier Award is an important step in the journey started in 2019 with the Vendor Rating (VR) system, introduced by CAP Group as a rewarding mechanism in calls for tenders, linked to the possession of environmental and social certificates (e.g., SA8000, ISO 18001, ISO 14001) and documented commitment to safety, the principles of ethics, legality, environment, diversity, change management and occupational safety. The winners will be able to take advantage of e-learning courses worth EUR 3,500, choosing from various topics, such as IT training, ethics and compliance, security, and soft skills development, for a period of 3 months and with the possibility of activating 5 users.
The three winners of the first edition of the Top Supplier Award were selected from among 1,300 companies recorded in our Supplier Register as qualified suppliers specialist in the provision of activities and services in the field of integrated water service.

The three winners of the Top Supplier Awards were selected by CAP Group's Supplier Department. The winners have met all the requirements set out as 'award criteria' in the call published on 8 June 2022 in the 'My Tenders' section within the CAP Group purchasing website.
