CAP Group has concretely committed to promoting inclusiveness andcombating gender-based violence by adopting two important initiatives for preventing and combating gender-based violence in the workplace, both internally and at partner companies and stakeholders.

CAP Group and the Consulta Femminile di Milano sign a Memorandum of Understanding against gender-based violence.

The Memorandum of Understanding has several goals. First, to promote actions and projects to prevent and combat gender-based violence in the workplace by carrying out awareness-raising and training actions. CAP Group people will be able to receive support from many Associations connected to the Milan Women's Council to support victims of abuse and violence, to receive information on where and how to file a complaint, anti-violence networks, places of reception and hospitality, medical and psychological support. Finally, the MoU provides for the organisation of public awareness-raising events to involve institutions and companies on gender-based violence issues.

The collaboration between the public utility and the Milan Women’s Council started last year, on the occasion of the World Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (25 November), with an initiative that involved Institutions, Associations and Companies with the aim of realising proposals to be shared and promoted also at other businesses, both public and private.

CAP Group adopts a Code of Ethics aimed at promoting inclusiveness and equal opportunities

CAP Group, which has long been committed to the development of projects and programmes dedicated to inclusiveness and equal opportunities, has started a path towards gender equality certification, and the Board of Directors has recently approved the Diversity, Fairness, Inclusion and Equal Opportunities Policy document, which sets out the guidelines to be complied with, the tools to be used and the goals to be achieved on these issues. The aim is to promote maximum inclusion, ensuring a working environment in which everyone can feel welcome and respected, and promoting concrete actions to prevent negative behaviour, starting with a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of discrimination.

With this document, CAP takes on this commitment not only internally but also towards its partners and stakeholders, through training sessions, workshops and awareness-raising events. For some time now, the Company has been particularly appreciating rewarding corporate partners that stand out in promoting gender equality and inclusion, such as, for instance, service providers with a majority of female personnel, particularly in managerial roles; this through the use of an ad-hoc developed algorithm and special collaboration agreements.
